Griffin Collins

Biography:

​Griffin Collins is an American collegiate athlete known for his versatility in both football and soccer. Born in Plano, Texas, he attended Frisco Liberty High School, where he excelled in football as a tight end and linebacker, earning all-district honors during his junior and senior years. He also participated in track and field and powerlifting. ​

Collins continued his football career at Cornell University, playing as a wide receiver. In his senior year (2021), he contributed significantly on special teams and as a reserve wide receiver, participating in all 10 games and recording notable performances, including two special teams tackles in the season opener against No. 22 VMI. 

There is also a younger athlete named Griffin Collins from Worcester, Massachusetts, who has committed to Boston College as a linebacker for the class of 2025. Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 213 pounds, he played at Worcester Academy and was ranked as the top linebacker in Massachusetts. He officially enrolled at Boston College on February 1, 2025. ​

Additionally, a Griffin Collins from Needham, Massachusetts, has been recognized for his achievements in soccer. Playing for St. Sebastian's School and the IFA New England club, he has been noted for his technical skills, speed, and versatility on the field. In 2024, he earned All-State and All-NEPSAC honors and led New England in assists with 21.
